Bestie Bucks T&Cs

1. Overview

Bestie Bucks is Sundae Best's loyalty programme designed to reward customer loyalty, encourage repeat purchases, and provide exclusive benefits to members. Participation in the Bestie Bucks programme constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Sundae Best reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the programme, its rewards, benefits, earning rates, redemption values, and eligibility requirements at any time without prior notice.

2. Programme Eligibility

• Bestie Bucks is available to customers who create a customer account on the Sundae Best website.

• Customers must be aged 18 years or older to participate.

• Each customer may hold only one loyalty account. Sundae Best reserves the right to merge, suspend, or terminate duplicate accounts.

3. Programme Launch

The Bestie Bucks programme begins from its official launch date. All customers will start at the Friend tier regardless of previous purchase history, account age, or lifetime spend.

No purchases, orders, spend, referrals, or activity prior to the programme launch date will be recognised for:

• Bestie Bucks accumulation;

• Tier qualification;

• Rewards eligibility; or

• Loyalty status.

All customers will begin with:

• Zero Bestie Bucks; and

• Friend tier status.

4. Earning Bestie Bucks

Customers earn 5 Bestie Bucks for every R1 spent.

Points are awarded on:

• Online purchases made through the Sundae Best website.

Points are not awarded on:

• Delivery fees;

• Gift cards;

• Refunded orders;

• Cancelled orders;

• Fraudulent transactions; or

• Any transactions excluded at Sundae Best's discretion.

5. Pending Points

To protect the integrity of the programme and prevent abuse through returns, exchanges, cancellations, or fraudulent activity, Bestie Bucks are not immediately available for redemption.

• Points remain in a pending status for 30 days following the order date.

• Points will automatically be released into the customer's available balance once the 30-day period has passed, provided the order has not been refunded, cancelled, charged back, or otherwise adjusted.

6. Points Expiry

• Bestie Bucks expire 12 months after the date they are earned.

• Expired points will automatically be removed from a customer's account balance and cannot be reinstated.

• Sundae Best may, but is not obliged to, send reminder communications prior to points expiring.

7. Redeeming Bestie Bucks

Bestie Bucks may only be redeemed through the redemption options made available by Sundae Best. Points may not be exchanged for cash and must be redeemed in fixed reward blocks.

Current redemption options:

• 30,000 Bucks = R150 off

• 40,000 Bucks = R200 off

• 80,000 Bucks = R400 off

• 130,000 Bucks = R650 off

Redemption values may be amended at Sundae Best's discretion.

8. Redemption Restrictions

• Bestie Bucks may only be redeemed against full-price merchandise.

• They may not be redeemed against sale items, clearance items, gift cards, delivery charges, or any other products or services excluded by Sundae Best.

• Bestie Bucks may not be combined with selected promotional offers, discount codes, or campaigns where expressly stated.

9. Returns, Refunds & Loyalty Adjustments

Bestie Bucks are awarded on completed purchases only. If an order is adjusted, Sundae Best reserves the right to recalculate the balance and tier qualification.

• Earned Points: Where points were earned on a returned or refunded order, pending points will not be released, and available points may be deducted.

• Redeemed Points: Where points were redeemed on a returned or refunded order, the points will be returned to the account (retaining their original expiry date where possible).

• Partial Returns: Earned points will be recalculated based on the final value of products kept by the customer.

• Exchanges: Exchanges for like-for-like products will not impact balances. If an exchange changes the final order value, points will be recalculated accordingly.

• Negative Balances: If an adjustment results in more points being removed than available, the account may go into a negative balance. Future earnings will be applied to offset this balance.

10. Tier Structure

Tier benefits may be amended or substituted at any time.

11. Referrals

Referral rewards are available only through approved mechanisms. To qualify:

• The referred customer must be a genuine new customer.

• The referred customer must successfully place a qualifying order.

• The order must remain active for 30 days (not cancelled, refunded, or returned).

12. Referral Reward Restrictions

• Referred Customer: The R100 welcome reward applies to full-price merchandise only and cannot be used on sales, clearance, gift cards, or excluded promotions.

• Referrer: The R100 reward is issued after the validation period, is single-use, non-transferable, and subject to the same product exclusions as the welcome reward.

• Sundae Best reserves the right to reverse rewards where fraud, abuse, or self-referrals are suspected.

13. Abuse & Fraud

Sundae Best reserves the right to suspend, adjust, remove, or terminate any loyalty account where abuse, manipulation, fraud, self-referrals, duplicate accounts, or suspicious activity is identified. All decisions made by Sundae Best regarding accounts and rewards shall be final.

14. General

Bestie Bucks have no cash value and may not be transferred, sold, exchanged, or assigned to another customer. Participation does not create any legal entitlement to rewards. Sundae Best reserves the right to interpret these Terms & Conditions at its sole discretion, and in the event of any dispute, the decision of Sundae Best shall be final.
